Small is beautiful

I now have a new punchneedle- the Oxford punch needle for rugs which takes bulky yarns – so does this mean I will be rug hooking chunky wooly rugs for the start of the new year?

Apparently not, as a certain member of the family, turning 6 years old on January 9, 2015 is very interested in dolls houses and fairy gardens …
and she is very persuasive.

The “Cup of Kindness ” tapestry is done

And I’ m ready for Christmas!

For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We’ll tak a cup o’kindness yet
For auld lang syne

Robert Burns ( 1788)

This tapestry is about my aunt Sue, who died in Edinburgh, this year on Good Friday. Tea and kindness will be forever entwined in my heart and in my memories of my aunt.

About half way through with the tapestry and with no idea what will happen next, so it might take a while.
